One of the most intriguing prospects for the 2018 NBA draft made it official Saturday.
Luka Doncic, recognized as one of the mist decorated European players of recent vintage, has submitted his official paperwork to declare himself eligible for the draft.
Currently leading Real Madrid in the EuroLeague playoffs, Doncic is averaging 14.9 points, 4.7 rebonds and 4.4 assists this season.
Regarded by many as the potential No. 1 overall pick in the draft, the 6-foot-7 Doncic is a multiple-position player, being able to play with and without the basketball.
The Slovenia native has been playing for Real Madrid since joining its junior team in 2014.
The early entry deadline for the NBA draft is Sunday night.
